Five online interactive workshops for a cohort of 10 church leaders across the conference

Presenter: Bonnie Marden, MYTE Ministries

Overview

Whether you are confident or terrified, the skills for cultivating donors and professional asks are within your reach. Discover and hone leadership skills in a supportive learning community.

The 2021 Fall cohort raised nearly $36,000 beyond regular giving and, including pledges to a capital campaign, the total raised was nearly $360,000!

The series of five live interactive online workshops equips pastoral and church leaders for the craft of cultivating financial support for mission and ministry. Content is sequential with actions and results reported each session. Participants practice skills with support and accountability while growing in self-awareness about how our life experience impacts our leadership.

Workshops: 90 minutes

Special notes:

  • There is no required reading for these workshops
  • Number of participants is a total of 10 across the conference
  • Non-refundable registration fee is $75
  • Full participation is mandatory to earn 0.75 CEUs

Participation includes opportunities to successfully accomplish the following results:

  • Define financial gift cultivation as spiritual formation and pastoral ministry
  • Discover courage and build confidence making financial asks
  • Practice donor cultivation activities
  • Expand financial resources year-round
